Designing Your Life Netherlands is looking for a Social Media & Marketing Intern.
This role is perfect for a student or recent graduate in Communication Science, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field who’s eager to apply their creativity and strategic thinking to real-world impact.

Location: Hybrid ~ once a week in Amsterdam
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 9:30–17:00 (flexible Wed & Fri)
Starting: February 2026

What we are looking for
- Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
- A proactive and organized communicator
- Passion for storytelling, community engagement, and well-being
- Interest in digital marketing, copywriting, and brand communication
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Relevant coursework or experience preferred
Key responsibilities
We offer a flexible role with lots of room for creativity and initiative. Here are some things you might work on (and we welcome your own ideas too!):
Content Creation & Copywriting
- Film, edit, and repurpose short-form videos
Write engaging content for LinkedIn and Instagram
Create newsletters (via Kit)
Support website and blog copy (WordPress)
- Design simple visuals (on Canva)
Social Media Strategy & Management
Help plan and schedule content for Instagram and LinkedIn, keep our pages active and fresh, and track engagement to improve performance.
Marketing Research
- Support marketing campaigns for workshops, programs, and events
- Track performance and learn what works through basic analytics
- Research trends, formats, and competitors for inspiration
- Keep content and digital assets organised
Community Engagement
Respond to comments, DMs, and emails in a warm, professional way to foster a sense of connection and care.
